Master class "the workshop for film critics"

Founder of NISI MASA, the European network of young cinema, Matthieu Darras ideated and managed dozens of international workshops related to scriptwriting, filmmaking, and film criticism from 2001 to 2021.

Critic for the film magazine Positif, Matthieu Darras was a regular member of Cannes Critics’ Week selection committee from 2005 to 2020. He assumed the artistic direction of Alba Film Festival in Italy, and of the IFF Bratislava in Slovakia.

Matthieu Darras has been working for the Torino Film Lab since its inception in 2008, currently as Head of Programmes. He is also delegate of the San Sebastian Film Festival, in charge of Central & Eastern Europe and works as scout for the Jerusalem Film Lab.

Master class "Comletion Bond"

Steve Ransohoff has been with Film Finances, Inc. for over 25 years and became Co-President/Co-Chairman of the company in 2008. Over the years he has worked as the head of FFI’s legal team and played a crucial role in many of the hundreds of films that they have bonded. Steve has also had an active role in seeking out new business ventures, as well as coordinating the activities with FFI’s overseas offices. Steve received his J.D. from San Francisco’s Hastings School of Law and began his career in the entertainment division of Loeb & Loeb LLP. He remained there for three years before joining FFI in 1986

It is not the first visit to Kazakhstan of the American director, the screenwriter and producer Chuck Russell. The author of Hollywood hits like "Mask", "Eraser " and "Scorpion king" for the second time becomes the guest of the international film festival "Eurasia" where he will teach a master class for beginning directors. In the same time, within the frame of film festival "Eurasia" Chuck Russell will in detail tell about the project “Genie” developed together with a film studio "Kazakhfilm". Earlier this project was known, as "The Arabic nights"

The highly awarded American screenwriter and the judge of the IX IFF "Eurasia" David Franzoni (movies "Gladiator", "King Arthur", "Amistad", etc.) will teach the master class “script writing”
